Join Cam and one of his Yoga Mentors Mister Keenan Crisp as they talk about Keenan’s journey from an Officer in the Australian Army serving time in East Timor to finding himself in India where he met his Guru Sai Baba and had the soul awakening experience of instant transformation through God Consciousness that led him into the practice of the Yogi Path.
Through Selfless service on the path of Karma Yoga he journeyed to the Congo on Relief and first aid missions and returned to Australia to work for over a decade as one of Australia’s leading Yoga Teachers.
Now days he has grown past the “Yoga Studio” world and developed his High Performance Coaching business Better life Connection.
Here he adapted his own development of works based on John Nutting’s Core Belief Balancing married with his years of yogic practice and the High Performance Coaching to result in a successful sustainable life “Living Well” and aiding others to do so.

Rudi is a trained life coach and leadership mentor these days and he shares about his struggles and journey in career and relationships that lead him be the qualified successful mentor he is today.
Rudi talks to the practices of transformation for him beginning with “TRE” an emotional releasing technique to aid in self regulation of emotions and nervous system to facilitate stronger human relationships with self and others.
He spoke to a modality of self awareness training called “Internal Family Systems” that he uses and practiced to grow self awareness in his transformation.
Finally he mentioned a great book that allowed him to move through his fear of confrontation and authority to have necessary difficult conversations in life and business.

What is a 12 step program ?
Join Yogi Cam from https://www.foundationmethod.com to explore What is a 12 step program by definition, the 12 steps and his brief understanding of them ( more detailed video of “How it work’s” to come ) , the origin and history of 12 steps, is there a program for you ?, How do I know if I need one and What if I can’t do god ? Other variations non religious / spiritual variations of 12 steps.
The 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous –
1) We admitted we were powerless over alcohol—that our lives had become unmanageable.
2) Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.
3) Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.
4) Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.
5) Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.
6) Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.
7) Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings.
8) Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all.
9) Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.
10) Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.
11) Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.
12) Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to alcoholics and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

My daytime practice for advanced #Pranayama or #Breathwork.
I combine 3 x 40 #Kapalabhati or Skull shining breath (forced exhale through the nose passive inhale pulses one per second)
3 x #Mahabanda at the end of each 40 breaths with held breath for 10 seconds or what ever is comfortable (root lock, sternum lock, chin lock)
5 x #Yogic Breath (3 part breath – belly – sternum – collarbones up and down from top to bottom)
5 x #Viloma 1 (3 smooth steps with retention in and smooth long exhale)
5 x #NadiShodona ( alternate nasal breathing) with arm flow.
If new to breath work please watch this full YouTube video first for benefits, individual sections and contraindications.
This is the stand alone practice for anyone with an existing breath practice who knows their limits and traditional Pranayama work but can be adapted when learned to suit specific needs.
This is quite an energising and balancing practice as a full sequence there for it’s a Daytime practice not before bed.
Don’t practice on a full stomach and if you feel dizzy or light headed take a break.
