My daytime practice for advanced #Pranayama or #Breathwork.

I combine 3 x 40 #Kapalabhati or Skull shining breath (forced exhale through the nose passive inhale pulses one per second)
3 x #Mahabanda at the end of each 40 breaths with held breath for 10 seconds or what ever is comfortable (root lock, sternum lock, chin lock)
5 x #Yogic Breath (3 part breath – belly – sternum – collarbones up and down from top to bottom)
5 x #Viloma 1 (3 smooth steps with retention in and smooth long exhale)
5 x #NadiShodona ( alternate nasal breathing) with arm flow.

This is the stand alone practice for anyone with an existing breath practice who knows their limits and traditional Pranayama work but can be adapted when learned to suit specific needs.

This is quite an energising and balancing practice as a full sequence there for it’s a Daytime practice not before bed.

Don’t practice on a full stomach and if you feel dizzy or light headed take a break.
